Our Wildflower Honey embodies a mixture of floral sources from the geographical region surrounding our farm and comes to us from local beekeepers and their apiaries. Throughout the year, these beekeepers traverse the region to areas where the honey flow is the strongest. As a result of the colonies’ pilgrimage from one place to another, the diverse flavors of Orchard Pond’s Wildflower Honey depends on what wildflowers are in bloom at the time the bees collect the nectar and pollen.  Raw honey is believed by many to aid in combating allergies and has been used for centuries to treat sore throats and coughs. Orchard Pond takes pride in the fact that our honey is raw and unfiltered.

Nutrition and health benefits of honey include antibacterial and antifungal properties, vitamins and enzymes, and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.  These beneficial qualities are destroyed when honey is heated.
