Reverb AXS Seatpost B2 2027

Since first gaining popularity in the late 2000's the dropper seatpost has become an essential component for mountain, and gravel, cyclists. Rockshox changed everything with the launch of their AXS wireless system, that included the wireless AXS Reverb dropper seatpost. Offering neat, seamless integration and reliable performance the Reverb AXS quickly became the go-to option for high-end build kits. 

Due to the wireless operation of the Reverb AXS it is incredibly simple to set up on your bike, and the shifter/remote can also very easily be customised via the SRAM AXS app to dial in the on-trail function you require. The Reverb AXS pairs perfectly with it's AXS drivetrain siblings, sharing battery, controller and charger.

This is the latest B2 version of the AXS post, released May 2026.

Rockshox have made the Reverb available in a wide range of sizes to cover many riding styles and demands with travel options starting at 100mm all the way up to 250mm, in 25mm increments.

ActiveRide and Air-over-Air design

Reverb AXS’ new air-only internals introduce ActiveRide, a built-in compliance system that enhances traction on steep, technical trails. Fully extended, Reverb AXS is rock-solid; but when dropped, ActiveRide engages, delivering extra responsiveness and comfort. 

At top out, the air-over-air design puts the rider atop a specially designed air spring chamber, with virtually no negative air spring. This delivers a firm and supportive platform for the rider. Once the valve is activated and the post moves into its travel, ActiveRide is engaged. 

Maintenance - 

Designed for long-term performance, your Reverb AXS requires standard lubrication every 300 hours of ride time (approximately 1 year). A two-year service kit is available for a full refresh and routine maintenance is of course super easy thanks to the wireless system.
