Specialized began with an incredibly fast foundation—the unique construction of the RapidAir. Unlike traditional three-ply casings that add weight under the tread and increase rolling resistance, the RapidAir uses a two-ply casing that overlaps at the sidewalls. This design not only improves speed but also provides better grip with a more supple contact patch. Adding to this impressive performance is Specialized's all-new Gripton T2 compound, the fastest and most efficient compound ever developed by the brand.

Specialized paired this with the legendary grip of the Gripton T5 compound on the shoulders. With this dual compound, a set of 26mm S-Works Turbo RapidAir 2BR tires saves two watts of rolling resistance compared to the previous model while also adding approximately 1,000 kilometers to the tire's lifespan. And did we mention they are lighter? Each tire weighs just 230 grams in the 26mm size. As a tubeless tire, the new RapidAir allows you to leave the spare tube at home when used with RapidAir sealant.
